It is with great pleasure that we announce that the Committee on Continuing Certification of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) has approved the Family Medicine Certification Longitudinal Assessment (FMCLA) as a permanent alternative to the one-day exam.  The feedback from participants in the first three cohorts has been overwhelmingly positive and we believe this is an optimal approach for both learning and assessment.
